  • A web based vehicle tracking system which provides real time tracking of the vehicles or assets through GPS/GSM based hardware units.
  • The solution enables tracking manager to monitor the movement of their vehicles that includes - the route taken, start & completion time of the journey, distance travelled, speed, stoppage location and duration, waypoints, over speeding, acceleration /deceleration etc.
  • The application provides the complete journey details for all vehicles for easy planning, tracking and scheduling with an extensive reports thereby helping fleet supervisor to manage their fleet more effectively.

Working

  • It has a GPS & GSM based hardware unit which will be mounted on each Vehicle.
  • Application software comprises of Internet technology, GPS & wireless terrestrial networks such as GSM/GPRS.
  • The GPS/GSM hardware unit has built-in GPS receiver for determining the vehicle's location, speed, direction & altitude.
  • Hardware Unit receives the GPS data & sends via GSM/GPRS network to our remote server at the data center.
  • Map contains all road network with zoom in & zoom out level facilities.
  • Current and historical positions - Showing current vehicle and asset position and historical locations.
  • Geo-fencing - When an asset has entered or exited certain geographical areas.
